This is due to the amount of people who are turning to Permanent make-up for convenience in a time where we don't have a lot of time. With this in mind, it is important to know that there are 5 mistakes that anyone in the industry should avoid in order to take their business to the next level.

MISTAKE #5. YOU THINK YOUR BUSINESS IS ABOUT YOU

One of the biggest mistakes that you're making is that you are not giving your customers what they want. This is vital to understand because it’s one of the things keeping you stuck. You want your customers to be 100% satisfied with their experience in addition to their services, so you need to make sure that you are giving them exactly what they want and take yourself out of it..
Your business is supposed to support you and serve your clients so if you’re not intentional about this, it keeps you doing everything and nothing at the same time because no one will relate or resonate with your brand.

This leads to random bookings but nothing consistent and with that, you can’t pinpoint what is actually getting clients to book appointments and you can't build a sustainable business like that without losing your mind in the process!


MISTAKE #4. YOU GET CAUGHT IN VANITY METRICS


I'm not sure who needs to hear this but having 20,000 followers doesn't mean you’ll make $20k clients booking you (at all)

Believe it or not, there's such a thing as being an “influencer” without any influence (One time I saw an influencer with over a million followers who launched a T’shirt and couldn't sell one).

So give yourself grace because seeing a PMU artist with a lot of followers tends to make other artists feel inadequate or like they’re too far away.If this is you, i'm here to tell you that you're focusing on the wrong things! Instead, focus on consistently marketing your business and nurturing the people you do have following and interacting with you. You’d be shocked at the (monetary) value that will bring to your business.


MISTAKE #3. YOU HAVE LIMITATIONS and they're stopping you like a brick wall

We all have limiting beliefs that we have to work through! The 3 most common ones that I find with new students (ok, it was me too!) are Money blocks, Limiting beliefs and A lack of confidence, If you don’t identify and work through yours, they'll continue stopping you from progressing to the next level.

This is the thing, What you believe is true. If you believe you can have a thriving PMU business, you will and if you believe you can't, you won't! It’s really that simple


MISTAKE #2. You’re focusing on too many things at one time (And not capitalizing on the potential of 1 done right)

Now this will put you in another..”Doing everything and nothing at the same time” type of situation!
You're too busy trying to get all of the clients when you need 1 target client! But, When you're going after everyone, you're going after no one!
